Queen of the MTN Results

Thank you everyone for the amazing weekend! We had 11 yogis, 22 students in attendance at Saturdays clinic, 11 skilled and stylish ladies competing on Sunday, and thousands of dollars in prizes given away in our FREE raffle. Participants traveled from Arizona, Utah, Washington and all over California to be a part of this special event. On a weekend with so many great events happening, we are honored to have spent it with you campers!

Pets at Queen of the MTN

Next weekend is coming quick, and we would like to address the pet policy for all participants and spectators visiting the Compound for Queen of the MTN.

The Compound is home to not only an amazing bike park, but the Cox family and their animals. Out of respect for the Compound Critters please leave your animals at home while attending Queen of the MTN. Because of the heat, there will be a zero-tolerance policy for unattended animals.

Service animals are certainly welcome.

10 days to go.....

Time is getting very close and the prizes keep rolling in! We recently received boxes from Dakine, Kali, and Yuba expeditions.  Geax, Loeka, Five.ten and Amazing Grass are on their way.   Guayaki dropped off tons of tea and Mi Pueblo sealed the deal for lunch on clinic day and our awards party on Sunday. Too much to post right now, check it out on facebook.....

Queen of the MTN: One Month to Go!!

Pretty much one month to go until Queen of the MTN.  The slopestyle course is coming along nicely, we have riders lined up for practice and are praying for volunteers to come down and help give Randy Spanglers 2 mile xc loop a shave job (theres a beautiful flowy track under the hay field!)

If you haven't registered yet, please be advised the clinic fee will increase by $20 on August 1st.  So please register ASAP!

We've added Loaded Precision Inc. as a sponsor.  They make hands down the highest quality aluminum components for your bike.  Pedals, handlebars, stems, grips, check them out!

We will also be serving Guayaki Yerba Mate in our tea bar and stocking coolers with cans of refreshing and naturally sweetened sparkling mate!

Event preparations at the compound...

We are getting close to August... Bender has begun the slopestyle course build and a pretty wallride that College Cyclery took home from the last Redbull Ride and Style will be utilized within the course.

Beginnings of 2012 slopestyle course build

Oakley wallride

We want this event to be fun for all abilities of female mountain bikers so the xc loop is receiving some major love. The flowy track winds out past grapevines and farmland behind the flow track area.

"crooked" mile on the 2 mile xc loop will be getting more love soon!
There will be lots to learn and tons of fun to be had here at the compound. Prizes are rolling in from Oakley, Dakine, Loeka, and more. Food plans are being solidified :) yum. If you haven't registered yet, please do so as soon as possible. Clinic fees will go up August 1st from $130 to $150.
